About Us:
At the heart of our mission lies a commitment towards fellow students. We started ALBy with the mere goal of helping friends and peers with stress and anxiety. Yet, we soon realized that the scope of this project involved educators too, because learning is a journey, which requires community. Our hope is that each person within the community feels a little bit more supported with ALBy.

Vivian is currently a senior at an american high school in São Paulo doing the IB diploma programme. From juggling an athletic career to a rigorous academic curriculum, Vivian understands firsthand that high school is a time of self-discovery and growth. During this time she was inspired to grow, and together with Lys and Gabriel create ALBy to help fellow students grow together.

A Swarthmore Engineering student, her academic journey blends specialization with diversity. A liberal arts foundation allowed exploration across various fields, supported by exceptional mentorship. Their guidance fueled her curiosity while emphasizing the vital role educators play in sparking intellectual passion. Within this academic environment however, Lys noticed a resistance regarding AI in education. Through ALBy with the rest of the team she hopes change such perceptions.

Gabriel has always had a passion for coding and computer science. Like most people he was often pushing himself to learn different languages: except, the ones he learned were computer ones. Coming from a brazilian school, Gabriel saw peers around him often be intimidated by such languages. This is why, with ALBy, together with Lys and Vivi, Gabriel seeks to make learning accessible for everybody.
